bytestream / 8-Queens-Puzzle
The application enables you to play in Rooks, Bishops and Queens game modes each requiring you to fulfill the number of tiles for that given puzzle. The application allows you to select game modes, reset game modes and including a number of error checking procedures to ensure fair play. I would have hoped to implement a solve feature which uses an algorithm to find one of the many solutions to the puzzle but I have yet to get round to this.

A customizable java library used to update software. All you have to do is update is provide the library with access to two files on your web server one being the software version (for example: http://mydomain.com/software/projects/server/version.txt or a slightly more complex php script with multiple projects) and the second being the file to update to. bytestream/TFTP
TFTP stands for Trivial File Transfer Protocol and is most memorable for it's simplicity, for every individual packet the server sends or waits an acknowledgement, if it doesn't receive one it continues to retransmit until one arrives. This project was built during my time at the University of Miami as part of CSC524 - Computer Networks. The project provides a basic netbounce client and the TFTP server that only allows GET/PUT to the current working directory.
