bytestream / TFTP
TFTP stands for Trivial File Transfer Protocol and is most memorable for it's simplicity, for every individual packet the server sends or waits an acknowledgement, if it doesn't receive one it continues to retransmit until one arrives. This project was built during my time at the University of Miami as part of CSC524 - Computer Networks. The project provides a basic netbounce client and the TFTP server that only allows GET/PUT to the current working directory.

A customizable java library used to update software. All you have to do is update is provide the library with access to two files on your web server one being the software version (for example: http://mydomain.com/software/projects/server/version.txt or a slightly more complex php script with multiple projects) and the second being the file to update to. The library will do the rest and is accompanied by a nice GUI.

During my time at the University of Miami whilst studying CSC524 - Computer Networks I was also asked to build a basic web server using pure C. The web server can be used to process GET and POST requests whereby GET requests will serve a static file and POST requests with the addition of POST data will execute the file as if it were CGI and pipe the output back to the client. Again for security reasons it only serves files in the current working directory, and will also only execute shell programs.
