• Built a High Availability (HA) manager using VMWare ESXi's Java API, which would monitor the liveness of virtual machines running on any of the hosts, capture their snapshots (VMDK format) at regular intervals, and use them to restart any failed virtual machines on alternate, healthy hosts. • An alarm was also set up for preventing a fail-over to occur when a virtual machine was shut abruptly by a user. • Technologies: VMWare ESXi, VMWare ESXi Java APIs
