Academic project, started with the dissertation research of Uma Murthy. This is a prototype of a personal digital library, which enables people to work with parts of images. A user can markup images and associate marked up regions with text annotations. Later, they might retrieve information in multiple ways, including text and content-based image retrieval, and browsing in multiple ways. This version of SuperIDR is customized to work with images and descriptions of species of freshwater fishes of Virginia, USA. More information to be made available soon.
