Many companies would want a program that lets employees remotely access PCs, Macs, and other computers located far away in different regions beyond their main operations area. This is what remote support software delivers via web conferencing applications. With this software, companies can enjoy cost-effective, efficient, and self-hosted video conferencing, remote access, and audio conferencing features that give them a competitive edge.
Several businesses use key logger applications for Remote Desktop Control activities. These applications are also known as Worker Tracking Software program. The program either runs on the server or is installed on each employee’s computer. The software allows the employer or supervisor to observe fun based activities on all computers in the LAN. The activities can be recorded and observed later. This feature allows the managers or employers to know what goes on in the organization in their absence. Some employees might feel use of this application against basic social ethics. However, we should understand, the employer has every right to know how the company’s resources and computers are used by its employees. Besides, there is no law existing that prohibits Remote Desktop Control of any kind. The primary objective of using Remote Desktop Control software is to ensure that employees do not indulge into actions that are not related to company during their working hours. The need to install Remote Desktop Control program is due to the possibility that some people might be checking individual emails, visiting social networking websites or accessing websites that are not important for their office work. Using remote support monitoring software allows employers to watch such activities and identify people doing them. Besides, some rogue websites distribute malware or net worms through its visitors. Employees put the entire network at risk by accessing such sites from their office computer. It is also possible that some pages of rogue websites are used to steal company information or hijack the network. Businesses can use remote control monitoring program to prevent employees from accessing such Web Pages. Some of the online sites that employees visit are of no use to the company. IT managers can use the Remote Desktop Control software to prevent access of these websites. This ensures employees only visit websites that are authorized and strongly associated with their professional duties. The RHUB appliance is a good tool to monitor employee’s desktop. The software can prevent leaking of sensitive data from an organization. The remote appliance can monitor record and control desktop activity and enhance employee’s productivity.
