> sirenDatabase is a minimalistic database management system. The idea of that project was generated based on an undergraduate course attended: “Database Implementation”. The main target of such an implementation was to identify the way the basic SQL queries are executed on a database management system. Moreover, great emphasis was given on the memory allocation and the information retrieved by the raw text files in which the database tuples are stored. sirenDatabase is NOT a database management system suitable for databases with vast amount of size. The purpose of that project is educational and not commercial.
