persistence.js is an asynchronous Javascript object-relational mapper library. You can use it in the browser, as well on the server (and you can share data models between them). In the browser it works with HTML5 SQLite databases as well as Google Gears' local data store. On the server-side we are working on different back-ends. Currently there is a MySQL back-end.
