sarahb1 / JSONtoCSV

This contains two files, first is a java .jar file which is made up of the BeanToCsv.class, Reader.class and org.JSON library (which can be found here: https://github.com/douglascrockford/JSON-java.git ). Compile these into a JAR file. The JAR file parses JSON (it has error handling that will default to my Facebook API rest url if you don't give it an input parameter). The .bat batch file should be saved in the same folder as the .jar and your excel file. The .bat file outputs the parsed json array into a .csv file, which can be opened with excel. To use this with VBA, use the shell() function to call the batch file (the batch file calls the .jar file and outputs the result). Example: Shell(toCsv.bat "json rest url"). Make sure within vba to also set your directory (before you call shell()), which can be done by writing the following: ChDir ThisWorkbook.path . Please cite Micah Fulton if you plan to use this source code.

sarahb1/SynonymReducer

This program uses the Idilia APIs to reduce words to their core canonical synonyms. This contains two files: 1) the contents of the JAR file (made up of DisambiguateMpxml.class, pom.xml, org library, com.sun.mail library, edu.smu.tspell.wordnet library, and javax library). 2) The .bat batch file which outputs the results to a .csv file. Put your compiled JAR file and batch file in the same directory as your macro enabled excel file. **Note: Secret Key has been removed, obtain your own secret key by signing up at idilia.com. Cite Micah Fulton if using the DisambiguateMpxml.class located in this repository, which is an altered version of the source code located here: http://www.idilia.com/wp-content/uploads/dev/code/java/src/com/idilia/restservices/examples/text/DisambiguateMpxml.java.
