Tool used to demonstrate Possibility Theory based risk assessments. These concepts build on the idea that probability based risk assessment tools are not accurate when dealing with events that are very rare and/or have not occurred yet. Possibility theory is used to analyze opinion based evidence in a fundamentally valid way.
Written to automate some data collection tasks for a research paper. eBay does not allow robots to crawl their listings, so I would manually download listing pages, then feed them to this program. The program parses the html pages, extracts auction information then downloads more details about each transaction. Buyer and seller information is also downloaded if they do not exist in the database.
