The streaming server has been implemented over Node.js using Express framework. It is used as source of events happening in the platform such as changes of any IP address on any virtual machine, expected or unexpected virtual machines crashes, etc. It uses the new html5 Websockets specification through Socket.io library to send asynchronous events from the server side to the user’s web browser.
