navedalam/mySearch

Built in python, mySearch is a tool that aims to correctly identify the context of web search terms using social information. It uses information from the users Facebook account (including likes, geographic info and interests) to make a prediction as to the users intended context on the basis of natural language processing techniques. The software is also information-source agnostic, and does not naturally prioritize sources over one another. Instead, it applies a machine-learning technique to gradually modify the weights of the information sources based on user feedback.

navedalam/RightFare

Built in python, RightFare is an SMS-based system to help passengers in determining the approximate autorickshaw fare between any two geographic locations using SMS. RightFare used the Google Maps API to allow passengers to bargain more effectively, check for meter fraud and ensure that the shortest path to destination is taken. This has developed into a commercial product by Ideophone.
