Project Overview: One of the most prominent issues for public school teachers is keeping track of their assets. A often large asset that they must keep track of is usually their personally purchased books. The other issue is faced by schools themselves. Books are fore the most part allocated in three major ways; belongs to classroom, belongs to teacher or belongs to school library. The purpose of this website will be to provide a utility for kids to be able to search for and view extremely detailed information about books, sign-out/in books as well a utility for teachers to view who has what book, which class it belongs to, who owes who a book and manage their own personal libraries. This project will encompass the use of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP, AJAX and MySQL. A Github project will be setup to simplify code contribution. We will be using a combination of IDE’s including Dreamweaver, Netbeans, Visual Studio and MySQL workbench.
