Simple Proof of Cranial Retention on using gzip to reduce network load on serving web pages. It works, but even web brick is more secure than this puppy. Make sure you gem install gzip and have the networkserver/lib directory in your path.to run: ruby bin/network_server.rb 8080 in your public web directory.
