My first approach with python was at codecademy, after finishing the javascript track. While that helped me get some basics and made me realize that I quite enjoyed what I was doing, I soon realized that I wasn't able to do much really and couldn't even figure out how to write or run code on my computer without using a compiler on my browser. So, after finishing Zed Shaw's crash course on the command line in unix(tremendously useful), I decided to 'learn the hard way' with his book "Learning Python the hard way". I will keep track of the exercises given in the book here.
