It's java codez! Oh noes. Nah it was so that it plugs into the travel-pidgin android app. This bit has the reference data, some tests to make sure that I've not missed example words and that some of the code works as intended or how I was thinking at the time. All bets are off. Depends on things

Ruby - will take pinyin either as first quoted arg or as pipe, converts to ipa. Certainly not without flaws.
