For example, it includes classes for strings, object collections, byte streams, typed coders, invocations, notifications, notification dispatchers, moments in time, network ports, remote object messaging support (distributed objects), and event loops.
This repository is cataloged as part of our automated global GitHub synchronization. Full telemetry, velocity snapshots, and code summaries are scheduled for continuous enrichment.

gnustep-back is the platform specific interface which allows GNUstep to work on many different graphical environments. All drawing functions and event processing logic are implemented here specific to the target platform. Currently these include Linux, *BSD, Windows and all POSIX compliant operating systems.
The GNUstep gui library is a library of graphical user interface classes written completely in the Objective-C language; the classes are based upon Apple's Cocoa framwork (which came from the OpenStep specification). These classes include graphical objects such as buttons, text fields, popup lists, browser lists, and windows; there are also many associated classes for handling events, colors, fonts, pasteboards and images.
