The stock X-Plane Skyhawk feels "twitchy" and unrealistic. I've spent considerable time customizing both the cosmetics and the "feel" of the plane to the point where I believe this is the nicest-flying freeware 172 available. It closely resembles the real-life N9522S in the panel and the performance. If you've flown in a late-1990s SP, I think you'll agree that this model looks and feels pretty close to the real thing.
