# bwoester/yii-js-action

> Attempt to implement something like Qt's QAction class for yii. A QAction defines an action users can perform in the UI. Let's say "open a file". The action instance can then be attached to menus, toolbars, context menus, ... Since the action defines a label for the action, an associated image, help text, and more, all controls that provide access to the action share a common look and feel. Also if the action get deactivated for some reason, all action providers will get notified and update their state. This way you only have to update one object instead of several ones.
