The program will act as a Decision Support System for a Doctor. A doctor will select a specific set of symptoms for a patient, and text will appear with the most likely diagnosis for that patient. The app should contain: a dropdown list of all symptoms a text area that suggests a diagnosis a text field to enter in a diagnosis the list of current symptoms added Your diagnoses should include at least ten of the major communicable disease found here: http://www.indexmundi.com/india/major_infectious_diseases.html For example, a doctor might select jaundice, fatigue, abdominal pain, and dark urine from the symptom list. These symptoms would all appear as current symptoms. The text area would show a message: "Likely Diagnosis: Hepatitis E". Then, the doctor should be able to enter in their current diagnosis (probably Hepatitis E, but we never know). Bonus Feature: allowing your system to "learn" which symptoms are more likely to be associated with certain symptoms
