Read-a-loud is a web portal to promote reading among the users (further referred to as: readers). It provides a platform for free e-Books reading. The readers of the system have access to all the free e-Books on the website. They can read and comment on the book. Alternatively, they can create groups and discussion topics to discuss about other books that are not available on the website. The abstract introduction of the book from a readers perspective and the further discussion on the book would encourage other users to take a look at the book and in turn encourage users to read the book. The web portal allows a search of the book based on its title, release date, and author. Along with this it also uses an extensive search based on key words e.g.: -If the reader wants to search for all books containing a particular word or a particular phrase. The search result returns all the books that contain maximum number of words in the phrase.
