This is a fork of the rencode project from Andrew Resch. The purpose of Andrew's project "is a complete rewrite in Cython to attempt to increase the performance over the pure Python module written by Petru Paler, Connelly Barnes et al." The purpose of my project is to provide both implementations from the same package for those that cannot build the Cython extension
