A highly modular Java framework for building and operating large scale neural network models of aspects of brain activity and function. A graphical tool to specify the function of an individual neuron, the connectivity of the neurons at a global and local scale, and scalable simulations to be run on it. A framework for training these neural networks using a variety of methods.
