This algorithm, designed to pickup trends in your own twitter network [rather than the whole twittersphere or geographic region], was taken from start to finish in 40 hours at a StartupWeekend. Keep in mind this is not polished, optimized code. This is meant to show what I can do in less than 40 hours.
