This is a codebase that will take an rss feed and send you an email when there is a new entry in the feed. This script also goes so far as to scrape the location of that feed for an keywords you specify, and also in the case of craigslist, allow you to send a response to the email address that posted the craigslist posting. Also, you can get twitter responses when there is a new rss feed post. There is a front end for doing all of this as well.
