Repo for fun hacks!
Mostly dark matter research.
Exercises related to medical physics.
Collaborative research effort with Garrett Allen, a CS student at Siena College.
Shared work between myself and Amanda Depoian, a Siena College Phyiscs major. We will be learning about particle physics and how to explain this to the general public.
A collaborative environment shared by Matt Bellis, professor in the Physics department at Siena College, and Lindsay Blake, a Physics major at Siena. We are starting to explore data fitting tools using the Python language, but this work may expand into other arenas.
Science Hack Day 2013
Public repository.
Advanced Lab (senior-year research project). Looking at sports statistics.
Research code for the 2013-2014 school year. Working on using the two point correlation function to visualize galaxy and population clumping.
Exercises, labs, and handouts oriented for physics students for Siena's CSIS 110, introductory computer science course. Python is the language of choice for the class.
A project based on ideas of Machine Learning (M.L) : We need to train computers to accurately recognize sentences in either Swahili or English out of reading entries from Wikipedia from both languages. We will then use similar rules and techniques to detect the presence of particular sub-atomic particles inside Physics data collected from the Compact Muon Solenoid (C.M.S) experiment at CERN.
