When completed, this modular Grails dialog will allow selection of server side files from a client, as in an internal web front end to some appliance. Current, the dialog is simply appended to the top of the page, which needs to be fixed. Also, the file tree will attempt to show all folders and files regardless of permission checks, which results in options that, when clicked, never provide any dialog or indication that a permission issue has occurred. This means that the file tree simply "hangs" on these folders. In future releases, permissions will be checked server side to ensure that the file or folder is permitted for the user prior to serving it as a selectable option to the client side Javascript. Finally, folders are not curretly selectable due to the way in which the FileDialog controls. In the future, folders will be selectable as options. This release requires the Twitter Bootstrap CSS, which is included, and the GSP connector, which runs client side to serve up the files and folders, which is also included. This is a prototype and is not recommended for direct usage in any code.
