WiiStep additions include a PPC-assembly objc_msgSend() implementation, PPC-aware atomic primitives and LWP-based mutex and conditional support. There is also a full platform-native GCD-implementation linkable against libogc or official RVL_SDK

For example, it includes classes for strings, object collections, byte streams, typed coders, invocations, notifications, notification dispatchers, moments in time, network ports, remote object messaging support (distributed objects), and event loops. The `wiistep` branch consists of many additional preprocessor tests which selectively include Wii-compatible portions of GNUstep-base. The `wiistep` branch also includes a CMake-based build system.
