Design Patterns often form the base of complex software engineering projects, providing a common language to designers for expressing their software frameworks and designs. But they seem very intimidating to the beginners to understand and implement. This idea is to develop the software using these design patterns in a visual manner using graphical building blocks and will be more intuitive and fun to use. It will not only help in building better designs but also act as a learning platform for students, software designers and experts in this field. It will require implementing a diagramming platform for laying out the blocks, domain specific language for spurting out the code behind, optimization techniques, and support in the available IDE's for any human intervention. It may also be used to partially support the software lifecycle management and reduce the human effort going in change management.
