World Wind, an open source 3D interactive world viewer, was created by NASA's Learning Technologies project, and released in mid-2004. It is now developed by NASA staff and open source community developers. This fork contains patches to allow World Wind to play nicely with maven. It also tracks the subversion-repository (at http://worldwind31.arc.nasa.gov/svn/) and is thus much more up-to-date than the upstream git-repository.
