Honda will be launching all the three of the above listed motorcycles at the Osaka Motor Show to be held this week in Japan. These bikes have got their appearance derived from the 500cc range (CBR500) of motorcycles launched by Honda in the previous year and thus, are expected to make their debut worldwide as the toned-down version of the CBR500 range. Alike the CBR500 series of bikes, the CBR400 machines will be offered by the Japanese manufacturer in three versions. While the CBR400R will arrive as a fully-faired version, the CBR400F will be included as a naked version in the range. On the other hand, the CBR400X motorcycle has been designed as an adventure touring bike. All the three beasts have got the similar engine as powering the CBR500 range but with reduced bore and strokes which bring the capacity down to 400cc from 470cc. This downsizes the price of these bikes as compared to those of the CBR500s and thus, Honda expects a superb response for them from the Asian market.
