Project for the Advanced Database Course at EPFL (Spring 2013). The tasks was to implement a Collaborative Filtering Recommander System based on the UV Decomposition Algorithm. Use of the Netflix Challenge Dataset. Tested on a cluster with 88 nodes. Final Root Mean Square Error of 0.86.
