Equilibrium is a native iOS App, written in Objective C. It is targeted for the iPhone and the iPad under iOS 6.1. It should become available in the Apple App Store in the mid of 2013. It is currently developed under Xcode 4.6, unit testing is done with OCUnit, GHUnit, and OCMock frameworks. The test management is supported by TestLink and Mantis as integrated bug tracker. A project management tool is setup for the Scrum process, it is called iceScrum. All three a web based services running on Amazon EC2 micro instances. In order to generate additional revenue, Apple’s iAd framework is integrated. The use of Core Location and MapKit is planned for the future. The process of storing user data has to be evaluated. Currently all data is saved in .plist (xml) files. In order to support the location features the app will be upgraded to store data with SQLite or CoreData.
