I messed around with OpenCV and ported it to the iPhone (after following a few blogs). I wanted to make an iPhone app that would be able to take images of A4 papers and cropping it nicely so that it looked like a scanned copy. Similar to JotNot. Unfortunately, I over-estimated my ability and never figured out how to do it smartly even though I managed to get the algorithm right. I was never able to do it generally, probably because I know nothing about computer vision. This project is dead as of now.
